Monotonous Life | 02 (December Moon)
There was a normal full moon last night. Actually, nung sunday pa, then nung monday kagabi. It was hella' bright and clear. And I can't help staring at it. Waiting for the witch to cross over to the moon while riding in her broom. Haha! And imagine there's a mother and a child inside. Haha! my nanay told me when we were a kid that its Mother Mary and Jesus Christ are living inside the moon. Thats why they have see what we're doing. nyehe, funny things!
I think thats a normal full moon nlang since nung sunday pa sya nag-appeared. They say the moon was a significant source of nocturnal illumination that affected [the] sleep–wake cycle, tending to cause sleep deprivation around the time of full moon. But I couldn't agree more. In fact, I lay in bed before 12mn so I can get a goodnight rest. mukhang di naman ako tatablan nun dahil sleepyhead nga ako. Haha
I woke up bright and early. Naks! Actually, 4 in the morning palang nun, I found myself sneezing and shaking with colds. I think the cold night of December has started already. I've just heard that the evenings/nights can be quite cold in December and January, I suppose to don't really mind as long as its hot during the day. Lastnight was so cold Sobrang lamig (exagge), I lay in bed in fetal position na nangangatog sa lamig. Parang winter sa pinas ang peg. Halos kuhanin ko na nga lahat ng kumot ng sister ko. Thats why the full moon was also called as Cold Moon, coz its name fittingly relates to the chilly weather of December, as this would be the time when cold weather would typically tighten its grip, bringing shorter days and longer nights. Meanwhile, Christmas is just a few weeks away, 20 days nalang bes!
Have you seen the full moon last sunday? Parang di ako aware kala ko sa ibang bansa lang. Haha! December 3, the full moon was appeared slightly larger and brighter than normal in the sky when it rised in the early evening. That full moon happened has to be the last andonly supermoon of the year. wow! tapos di ko pa nakita. As I remember the last appeared of the supermoon was in Nov. 2016. If I'm not mistaken, sadly I wasn't able to watch it. Since sunday was my so-unproductive day, so I save it for staying at home and catching up on sleep at manood ng kung anik anik. Unluckily, I didn't see the moon. as in, hindi ako lumabas ng bahay! Haha di bale, I saw another fullmoon the another night. They say it would be in Gemini, a sign known for its high-key energy. Although it was not as spectacular of an event as a solar or lunar eclipse, it was as good of a reason as any to step outside Sunday night and got a close look at Earth’s natural satellite. But I watched the moon lastnight though its just a normal full moon still bright and beautiful.
CURRENTLY
Listening
Wherever you are by South Border
I love to see the oceans beauty
And the moon that shines above
Alone in the sand looking at the stars
Wishing someday I will find true love
Just love this song. Remembering someone's special. choz!
Smelling
*sniff* *sniff*
nothing
Needing
Unscent petrolium jelly or vaseline for my flacky lips. Hindi padin siya magaling.
Thingking
If the full moon appears tonight. Kaso makulimlim and its so windy outside. Seems like theres a heavy rain
Hmm, what else?
For sure, you heard about some myths about the full moon when you're a kids and up until now? especially sa mga liblib na lugar at provinces. It's not only in the horror movies or twilight movies we'd watched. But here in the philippines we have so many urband legends/mga kasabihan at pamahiin. The moon holds a mystical place in the history of human culture, so it's no wonder that many myths — from werewolves to induced lunacy to epileptic seizures; were once blamed on witchcraft and possession by demons, higit pinaniniwalaan ang mga mythical rather than medical explanations. — "It must be a full moon," is a phrase heard whenever crazy and creepy things happen lalo pag may umalulong na aso. Wala naman din masama sa paniniwala about myths and urband legends. eka nga nila - There is no imposibble in this world; you can believe what you want to believe. Kung ano man paniniwala ng iba lalo ng mga elders, JUST BE IT! respeto para masaya! 😁

All I know is the most obvious example of the full moon is that the night sky is much brighter. The moon is also responsible for ocean tides, which occur based on gravitational attraction from the moon as well as the sun. Without the moon's contribution, we'd have some pretty unhappy surfers. Haha!
